The mobile car and truck washing industry has seen tough times in recent years with increasingly stringent water restrictions nationwide. In addition many states are introducing tough new laws pertaining to the collection and disposal of waste water.

Transwash Australia have recently introduced  a portable bunding product that is sure to revolutionise the mobile car and truck washing industry. Eco Bund is a portable bund of between 3 and 5 metres in length. It is attached to a wet and dry vacuum and position to capture run off from the wash process. Eco Bund contains the run off which is then sucked through the bund into the wet and dry vacuum resulting in a capture rate of over 90%.

Run off can then be treated by a portable oil and water separator or stored and disposed of according to local epa guidelines.

Eco Bund has been well received by major players in the mobile vehicle washing industry and many local government authorities who have applauded Transwash Australia for the environmental initiative.
