Bunding areas that require vehicle access has always proven an expensive and time consuming exercise.

Concrete "speed hump" style bunding can be difficult to retrofit and repairs of cracks in the concrete are often costly and ineffective. Negotiating these humps with a fully loaded forklift can also prove dangerous and are a common cause of hazardous spills.

Safe-Waste Industries has developed Flexi-Bund, a new type of driver-over bunding that addresses these problems. It is manufactured from a combination of rubber and PVC which is tough and impervious to high volume vehicle movements. It stands 50mm high and compresses to 10mm when being driven over by a loaded forklift. The Flexi-Bund then returns back to its original shape after the vehicle passes.

Easy to install on concrete, asphalt or any sealed surface, the kit comes with everything you need to lay it yourself including full instructions, surface preparation chemicals, sealant and adhesive. After installing, Flexi-Bund is ready to use in 24 hours and is resistant to oil and grease, diesel, gasoline and chemicals commonly used in the vehicle service and maintenance industry.
